(Invisible) daily news
Yesterday, Trish-uh! took the mighty Insect Slayer driving again, at 9:00 AM; the day before that for TA time (& where the hell was Car-girl when we needed her last Monday?) grocery shopping with her $15.00 gift card that she got out of McRonald's mandatory staff meeting, that she got when Trish was still working the Double Meat Palace. When they left I went to the Perky Pam Layout to socialize; burned out from waking up before 5:00 again, though I did get Ch.2-3 of Mindstorm condensed into a single chapter. Everyone says that the Mind-Warp version doesn't really start moving until Ch.4, anyway.
Then Cheri tried arguing about the plumber: "I could've got that nut off without WD-40". Yeah, & if you're such a good plumber why are you hanging around the Layout?
Bryan wasn't there; he had entered the hospital with what turned out to be, when I called him, gallstones. Trish had been scheduled to see Dr. Astle for a follow-up to her MRI Tuesday & have Bryan drive; at Karen's suggestion we arranged to do it here with Dr. Huffman.
Feeling burnt-out like a Suburban Man, when I got home I put on the Guitar Pablo video until Fred got here; we'd asked for a ride cuz rain was forecast. I turned the TV on to a couple rock-&-roll stations -- classic & 80s -- but he seemed anxious when Trish didn't call until 3:00. I think the trick, next time he comes over, is the keyboard. I just can't discipline myself to play the thing the way I should.
We had macaroni & cheese last night, that Trish got from the Invisible K-Mart. She played Penguins awhile, did some laundry, & watched TV with me for awhile. I took my first bath in the newly-repaired bathtub.
This morning, I woke up at 4:00, but fell asleep until 6:00.
